Senior Shopify Developer

Description:

Topdot, a leading global provider of dynamic website solutions, is looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join its team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify e-commerce sites while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive online sales and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify eCommerce sites and applications, including custom themes and apps.

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to implement business requirements.

• Lead Shopify integrations with third-party services, including logistics, shipping, and payment gateways.

• Execute Shopify development projects from start to finish.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.

• Optimize site performance and enhance user experience.

• Troubleshoot and debug Shopify-related issues.

• Stay updated on Shopify best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards and industry best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Shopify development and eCommerce solutions.

• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Deep technical knowledge of Shopify store setup from scratch.

• Experience with Shopify REST APIs, webhooks, templates, and custom app development.

• Technical knowledge of Shopify Flow and B2C/B2B eCommerce solutions.

• Experience in using Shopify as a headless eCommerce solution.

• Proficiency in Git and version control systems.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with other eCommerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce is a plus.
