Description:
As a Senior SDR/Appointment Setter at Freight Genie, you will play a pivotal role in bringing in qualified appointments/meetings for our clients. This position involves proactive outreach to potential prospects through cold calls. Your primary goal will be to generate new business opportunities by effectively communicating the value of the services, handling objections, booking appointments/meetings for our clients, and ensuring that prospects attend the meetings as scheduled.
In this senior role, you will contribute to strategy development and look for proactive techniques to drive the team’s success and to bring in more meetings for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high volume of outbound calls to prospects, introducing a suite of services and effectively handling objections to ultimately book meetings.
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and strategies for lead generation and cold calling.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for outbound calls, lead generation, and qualified booked appointments.
- Provide regular reports on call activity, lead status, and outcomes.
- Mentor and train junior SDRs, sharing best practices and providing ongoing support.
- Contribute to the development of lead generation strategies and outreach techniques.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of sales scripts and outreach strategies.
- Act as a liaison between the outreach team and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or a related sales role.
- Demonstrated success in a senior or leadership position within a sales team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle objections and effectively convey product benefits.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
