Senior Risk Manager

Description:

They are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to build and manage the Risk team. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

⚡ Responsibilities of Senior Risk Manager (FinTech/ Financial Technology)

• Identify possible risks firm-wide, through Risk Analysis and provide quantification through Risk Evaluation
• Monitor risk limits and implement thresholds where necessary, compiling reports for the Risk Committee and Upper Management
• Develop, establish and maintain the risk management framework, policies and procedures; review existing frameworks and strategies where necessary
• Work closely with the firm and relevant Business partners (e.g. Product, Finance, Business, Engineering) on risk strategies and their requirements

⚡ Requirements of Senior Risk Manager (FinTech/ Financial Technology)

• Knowledge within all types of risk (Operational, Enterprise, Financial, Market, Liquidity, etc.)
• 5+ years of exp. in FinTech (e.g. Payments, Lending, Crypto, Blockchain, Trade-fi, Exchange, Wealth Tech, Securities, FX Brokerage, Trading)
• Past leadership or mentorship experience
• Strong management skills to implement new initiatives
