Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design PCB layouts for 2 layer simple PCBs as well high speed / high power complex boards.
• Prepare documents for PCB assembly, schematics and fabrications using CAD software.
• Design layouts to develop high-speed and reliable circuits.
• Develop digital or analog designs.
• Work on the routing layout for single ended and differential signals.
• Analyze and resolve any design related issues especially arising due to bad routing practices or inaccurate thermal transfers.
• Designing and developing components such as printed circuit board’s schematic + PCB, processors, memory modules, and network components.
• Placement of components on PCB as per their functions in the circuit.
• Routing of differential pair high-speed signal, following length matching requirements.
• Completion of the design in the required time with documentation including
• length and netlist report, BOM of each design.
• Collaborating with software engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration with the hardware components.
• Testing hardware prototypes and analyzing and interpreting performance data.
• Implementing maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing components.
