Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities
 

• Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure
• Resolving complex network issues
• Upgrading data network equipment and software
• Configuring, installing, and supporting network equipment
• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades
• Collaborating with network architects to optimize system performance
• Evaluating network performance and managing network security
• Performing network monitoring and proactively addressing potential issues
• Producing and maintaining network documentation and diagrams
• Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support for network-related issues
   

Required Qualifications
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or a similar role
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure and hardware
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools
• Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies
• Strong understanding of network security and firewall technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
