Senior Merchandiser

Description:

Cotton Care is looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser / Account Manager to handle a European-based client in knitted garments (with some woven apparel). The candidate will independently manage accounts while ensuring efficient production coordination, quality control, and timely order execution.

Key Responsibilities:

📦 Manage orders from development to shipment, ensuring smooth execution
📊 Identify and resolve production process gaps proactively
📢 Communicate effectively with clients, factories, and internal teams
✅ Ensure quality control and coordinate with the QA team
⏳ Work under pressure to meet buyers' deadlines for samples & production
✈ Travel to different cities in Pakistan (Karachi & Faisalabad) as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in garment merchandising (knits preferred)
✔ Buying house experience is a plus
✔ Degree in Textile Engineering or Management preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of fabrics, production processes, testing, compliance, and packaging
✔ Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
✔ Excellent communication and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
✔ Integrity and professionalism in handling client accounts
