Description:
The Senior Manager Internal Audit will play a critical role in overseeing the internal audit function. This includes evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing an unbiased opinion on the accuracy and completeness of our financial statements. This role involves strategic planning and management of the audit process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the internal audit process, including comprehensive audits of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assess and improve internal controls, providing strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports, including findings and actionable recommendations, to senior management and the board.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Mentor and guide audit team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Develop and implement audit policies and procedures to strengthen the internal audit function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Finalist.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing or textile industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop an audit team.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of objectivity and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Willingness to work on-site in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
