Encyphers, a leading provider of software development and cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web-based applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) stack.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using the MERN stack.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience with the MERN stack.
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with Redux and Redux-Saga is a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Git, AWS, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Technical Skills:
- Headless CMS: Experience with headless CMS like Contentful, Strapi, or Prismic, and integrate them with the MERN stack.
- Shopify: Familiarity with Shopify and its APIs.
- GraphQL: Knowledge of GraphQL and its implementation with MERN stack applications.
- Docker: Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Testing: Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
- Security: Familiarity with web application security concepts like OWASP Top 10, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and SQL Injection.
