Senior Engineer Continuous Improvement

 

Description:

Ingredion (Rafhan Maize) is seeking a Senior Engineer – Continuous Improvement to lead and drive a culture of process optimization and efficiency enhancement across the organization. This role will focus on analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and fostering a continuous improvement culture within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis: Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing processes and propose optimization strategies.
Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze data to assess performance and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
Problem Solving: Apply methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen to resolve process challenges.
Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute improvement projects with set timelines.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously track the impact of initiatives and make necessary refinements.
Training & Coaching: Educate employees on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
Innovation & Research: Stay updated with industry best practices and new technologies for continuous improvement.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of all improvement projects and present reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Expertise:

Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering (preferably Chemical)
Experience: 4-5 years in a continuous improvement role within a multinational manufacturing industry (food/chemical/petrochemical preferred)
Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt is a plus)
Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of problem-solving tools and methodologies
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
