Senior Data Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

1. Collaborating with the customer’s technical team to gather technical requirements such as performance, maintainability, and scalability.

2. Producing design documentation

3. Managing the approval and acceptance process for the designs and their implementation in cooperation with the client

4. Develop ETL and Data Warehouse solutions according to the requirements

5. Supervising and overseeing the technical team and other aspects of projects with regard to following

6. Resolving ongoing maintenance issues and bugs

7. Monitoring daily scheduled jobs as well as performance tuning of transformation and jobs

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Data warehousing, ETL Subsystems, Advance SQL Scripting, DB Optimization, and scripting languages
• Good Knowledge of Programming languages (Java, Python)
• Advanced-level experience with any ETL processes using ETL tools(informatica, Pentaho, SSIS, or Talend)
• Experience with cloud ETL tools and technology preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques.
• Ability to write advanced scripting
• Hands-on experience in the Integration of REST APIs using any ETL tool or language.
• Strong project, team management, and leadership skills.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve a complex technical problem
• Ability to do Project documentation, to optimize the process for automation
• Analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and come up with solutions.
