We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Content Writer to lead our content strategy and create high-quality, captivating content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in producing engaging written content, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build, mentor and guide a team of content creators.
Job Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals, target audience insights, and SEO best practices.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality, original written content for various mediums such as websites, blogs, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media, and more.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of content creators, providing direction, feedback, and support to maintain consistency and excellence in content output.
- SEO and Keyword Optimization: Conduct keyword research, implement SEO strategies, and optimize content for search engines to drive organic traffic and improve rankings.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and SEO specialists to ensure content aligns with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
- Content Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, generate reports, and derive actionable insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.
- Brand Voice and Messaging: Maintain brand voice consistency across all content, ensuring messaging reflects the brand's values, tone, and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of minimum 2 years as a Content Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Expertise in crafting content for different formats and platforms with an understanding of audience segmentation.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in managing content calendars and working with content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with multimedia content creation (videos, infographics, podcasts, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry trends and content marketing best practices.
- Experience with data-driven content strategy and A/B testing methodologies.
