Senior Business Analyst

We focus on helping businesses transform their processes with digital solutions. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst specializing in eCommerce to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite role located at our office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, technical architecture, and business processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, mapping, and optimizing the technical aspects of eCommerce systems while driving key business outcomes like user experience, system efficiency, and revenue growth.

You should be prepared to share examples of past eCommerce projects where you successfully analyzed technical components and provided solutions to complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Analysis & eCommerce Platforms: Conduct detailed analysis of the technical infrastructure of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and performance improvements.

• Technical Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (developers, system architects, product owners) to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into detailed specifications. You will create key documents such as the Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Technical Requirements Document (TRD), System Architecture Diagrams, and Integration/Interface Specifications to ensure smooth communication between teams.

• System Mapping & Architecture: Create and update system architecture diagrams and technical documentation to map out the eCommerce ecosystem, including integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, APIs, and third-party tools.

• Integration and API Management: Analyze and evaluate API integrations between platforms and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, PIM) to ensure smooth data flow, synchronization, and performance.

• Technical Customer Journey Optimization: Collaborate with development and UX teams to analyze customer journeys, identifying areas to improve user experience by optimizing performance, reducing load times, and enhancing mobile responsiveness.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure that all technical aspects of the eCommerce platform meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Certification(s) in a relevant field (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• 6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, specializing in eCommerce projects.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, technical environment.
