Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Accounts Receivable to lead and manage the Accounts Receivable operations within our Shared Services Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely revenue recognition, effective credit management reporting, and seamless collaboration with remote finance teams across multiple group companies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management and Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Accounts Receivable team.
- Foster a motivated and results-driven team environment.
- Effectively coordinate with remote Country Finance Teams.
2. Accounts Receivable Operations
- Oversee AR processes across multiple group entities, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Monitor aged debts and implement strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Address and resolve complex customer disputes and discrepancies.
3. Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Reconcile and analyze Accounts Receivable accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closings.
4. Compliance and Process Improvement
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Track and manage key metrics related to the Accounts Receivable function.
- Maintain compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.
5. External Collaboration and Support
- Coordinate with Country Finance Teams to align AR processes.
- Conduct regular virtual meetings to review performance and resolve issues.
- Provide data for external audits, tax submissions, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- ACCA or CA (Finalist) with articles completed at a reputable audit firm.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
