Senior Accountant

Description:

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the organisation. This role will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Accountant’s primary purpose is to ensure that financial transactions of our UAE entity are recorded, documented and verified as per applicable accounting standards and country laws and regulations. This role will provide expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Competencies/Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience, with one year as Senior Accountant.
• Professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, ICMA, CIMA, or similar qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Working experience with Excel, Google Sheets and ERP/accounting systems (Zoho, Quickbooks, Odoo, SAP, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
