Description:
As a Seed Funder Cum Marketing Specialist specializing in fundraising and government contracts, you will be responsible for spearheading our funding initiatives, leveraging your expertise to secure seed funds, apply for and manage UK government contracts, execute successful Kickstarter campaigns, and acquire government grants. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to drive the company's financial growth and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure seed funds through angel investors, venture capitalists, and other funding sources.
- Manage the process of applying for and securing UK government contracts, ensuring compliance and successful project delivery.
- Plan and execute Kickstarter campaigns to raise capital, engage backers, and promote our innovative projects/products.
- Research, identify, and apply for government grants aligned with the company's goals and initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with potential investors, stakeholders, and governmental bodies to facilitate fundraising opportunities.
- Analyses market trends, competitor strategies, and funding landscapes to optimize fundraising efforts.
- Develop Business2Business Strategies and lead extraction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in fundraising, specifically raising seed funds, and a track record of successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in applying for and managing UK government contracts.
- Proficiency in utilizing crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter or similar platforms for fundraising purposes.
- Experience in approaching angel investors, VCs, and other funding sources for seed capital.
- Familiarity with the process of applying for and obtaining government grants.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
