The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles with a focus on technical aspects. The Technical SEO Expert will be responsible for optimizing website architecture, improving site performance, and implementing technical strategies to enhance search engine rankings and overall online visibility.
Responsibilities
Website Audits:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify issues affecting site performance and search engine rankings.
- Provide actionable recommendations to address identified issues.
Site Structure Optimization:
- Optimize website structure and hierarchy for improved crawlability and indexation.
- Implement best practices for URL structure, redirects, and canonicalization.
Technical SEO Implementation:
- Implement on-page technical SEO elements, including meta tags, header tags, and schema markup.
- Ensure proper implementation of XML sitemaps and robots.txt files.
Page Speed Optimization:
- Collaborate with development teams to improve website loading speed and user experience.
- Identify and address issues impacting page load times.
Mobile Optimization:
- Optimize websites for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Implement mobile-friendly design and address mobile-specific SEO challenges.
Structured Data Markup:
- Implement structured data markup to enhance rich snippets and improve search result visibility.
- Stay updated on schema.org changes and leverage structured data for relevant content.
Technical SEO Tools:
- Utilize SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and others to gather data and insights.
- Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
- 3+ years' of technical experience
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.
- Proficient in competitor’s analysis.
- Understanding HTML, CSS, JS, and schema markup will be a plus point.
- Proficiency with WordPress and any other leading CMS platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
