Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable SEO on/off-page Optimization Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is crucial in driving organic traffic and improving our website’s visibility on search engines. The ideal candidate will understand both on-page and off-page SEO techniques and will be responsible for executing strategies to boost website rankings and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Page SEO Optimization:
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-performing keywords and trends.
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, header tags (H1, H2, etc.), and alt tags.
- Ensure the website's structure, internal linking, and navigation are optimized for search engines.
- Implement SEO best practices for content creation, including using target keywords and maintaining keyword density.
- Improve page speed and mobile-friendliness for better search engine rankings.
- Perform regular audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues such as broken links, 404 errors, and duplicate content.
Off-Page SEO Optimization:
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles using tools like Ahrefs, Moz, and SEMrush.
- Outreach to relevant websites and industry influencers for guest posting and partnership opportunities.
- Manage and grow the company’s online reputation through content distribution, social media interaction, and engagement in relevant online communities.
- Keep up with the latest off-page SEO trends and updates, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, conversion rates, and bounce rates.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software to monitor website performance.
- Provide monthly SEO performance reports and recommend actionable strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO is integrated across all campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of content that is optimized for search engines while maintaining quality for users.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO changes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SEO, with a focus on both on-page and off-page optimization.
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
- Ability to conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Experience in link-building, outreach strategies, and managing backlink profiles.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret website performance data.
