Salesforce Developer

Description:

A Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet business needs. This role involves integrating Salesforce with other systems, managing data, analyzing requirements, and ensuring the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications

Required Experience

· 3 to 5 years of Salesforce development experience

o (not including experience on other platforms)

Salesforce Certification

· Salesforce Certified Platform Developer

· Salesforce Platform App Builder

Additional Salesforce certifications

· Certified Salesforce Administrator

· Certified JavaScript Developer

Responsibilities

1. Customizing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

2. Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes

3. Integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs and middleware solutions.

4. Managing and maintaining data within Salesforce, including data migration and quality.

5. Analyzing requirements and designing effective Salesforce solutions.

6. Testing and debugging Salesforce applications.

7. Providing ongoing maintenance and support for Salesforce applications.

8. Developing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users.

9. Collaborating with team members like project managers, developers, and administrators.

10. Adhering to industry and Salesforce best practices in development.

Additional Skills

1. Experience with other programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

2. Knowledge of Salesforce administration and configuration.

3. Experience with Agile development methodologies.

4. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

5. Understanding of broader CRM and IT ecosystem trends.
