Sales Tax Advisor

Description:

Job Description: Responsible for conducting research and analysis of sales and sales tax laws and regulations, preparing and reviewing sales tax returns, identifying and pursuing tax savings opportunities for clients, assisting with sales tax audits and appeals, communicating with clients to provide sales tax advice and support, and staying up-to-date with changes in sales tax laws and regulations

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct sales and use tax research and analysis

2. Identify sales and use tax savings opportunities for clients

3. Prepare and review sales and use tax returns

4. Assist with sales tax audits and appeals

5. Develop and maintain client relationships

6. Stay up-to-date on changes in sales and use tax laws and regulations

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales tax

3. Strong knowledge of state and local sales tax laws and regulations

4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
