Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating between departments, managing client orders, and ensuring seamless order execution. This role involves active communication with clients, handling purchase orders, dispatch management, payment tracking, and maintaining accurate reports on sales and production progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management:
- Record and track sample production for clients.
- Manage client purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approval and processing.
- Follow up with internal teams on production status, quality checks, and dispatch schedules.
- Client Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding order status, dispatch, and payment terms.
- Respond to client queries and provide weekly updates on order progress and payments.
- Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Work closely with departments like CAD, PPC, Sourcing, and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain regular communication with the production team to track progress and ensure timely deliveries.
- Dispatch & Logistics:
- Manage dispatch orders and coordinate shipment logistics to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure accurate documentation for OGP, packing lists, and sales tax invoices.
- Payment Follow-Up:
- Track and reconcile client payments, ensuring timely collections.
- Maintain payment sheets and update the management on payment statuses.
- Time & Action Plan (TNA):
- Manage the Time & Action (TNA) plan for all client orders, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor the delivery dates in sales contracts and escalate any issues.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate client files, order documentation, and internal reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales merchandising, order management, or a related role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and handle multiple clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
