The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential leads, setting up meetings, and building relationships with prospective clients. The SDR will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Qualification:
  • Engage with leads generated by the lead generation and marketing teams.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand the needs and pain points of potential clients.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and determine their fit for our services.
  • Prospect Engagement:
  • Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and social media to introduce our services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects through regular follow-ups.
  • Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on key metrics related to lead qualification and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize the sales process and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct research on target companies and industries to identify potential opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales development.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with marketing campaigns.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and outreach strategies to the lead generation team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Familiarity with software development services and SaaS products is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to conduct discovery calls and qualify leads.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
