Description:
Key Responsibilities for the Sales and Business Development role.
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
o Identify and target potential clients in industrial areas.
o Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
o Generate leads through field visits, networking, and cold calling.
2. Relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
3. Solution Selling
o Understand client requirements and propose suitable corrosion management solutions.
o Collaborate with technical teams to design and present proposals.
o Provide detailed product and service information to clients.
4. Sales Planning & Execution
o Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions.
5. Reporting & Feedback
o Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights to the management team.
o Gather client feedback to help improve products and services.
Qualification and Skills: Minimum 2 years work experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial or coatings sector.
- Certification in corrosion management NACE or SSPC (Added Advantage)
- Knowledge of Protective Coatings and Corrosion Management: Experience with different coatings, paints, and corrosion-resistant materials
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel to industrial areas for client visits
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
