Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support our research initiatives, assist in grant and bid writing, and contribute to various projects aimed at addressing climate change challenges in Pakistan. This role requires strong research skills, excellent writing abilities, and a keen interest in climate finance and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on climate finance, climate tech softwares, public policy, and sustainable development topics.
- Analyze data from various sources to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations based on research findings.
- Conduct extensive research to identify potential investors, impact funds, and financial institutions aligned with our climate finance objectives.
- Assist in writing grant proposals and bids for climate-related projects and funding opportunities, collaborating with team members to gather necessary information.
- Ensure all submissions are well-organized, and meet the requirements of funding bodies.
- Provide research support for clients, including government bodies and multilateral organizations.
- Create policy briefs, white papers, and other publications.
- Maintain organized records of research materials, data, and project documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Political Studies, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, particularly in software research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and research databases.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in climate finance, sustainability, and public policy is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with basic design tools (Canva, Flourish) is desirable.
