Description:
The position is responsible for leading and coaching a high-performing sales team in achieving assigned sales targets for our portfolio of pharmaceutical products. This role requires a visionary leader who can architect and implement effective sales and marketing strategies while serving as a catalyst for growth. The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring patient access to our products through robust distribution channels and will be tasked with identifying and capitalizing on viable business opportunities within the assigned region.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and coach sales teams representatives to achieve assigned sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies tailored to the regional market dynamics.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
- Ensure timely and efficient distribution of products to maximize patient access and market penetration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, evaluating market situations and devising strategies to achieve profit targets set by management.
- Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the sales team, providing coaching and support to enhance performance and professionaldevelopment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and maximize business impact.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of competitor activities and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of [08] years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards shared goals.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to devise innovative strategies for business growth.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft office use with hands on Excel, words and PowerPoint, quick learner for new evolving digital platforms like VEEVA, Distribution and Sales Analytical Tools, DocuSign, FAST, Tableau.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results under pressure.
