Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA to join our team. As a Junior QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through manual testing. You will work closely with the QA team and collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and report issues, as well as verify bug fixes and feature implementations.

Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality and quality.

Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on project requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and requirements.

Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems.

Verify bug fixes and validate new features to ensure they meet specified requirements.

Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings.

Assist in the development and improvement of QA processes and procedures.

Report test results and provide timely updates on testing progress.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing methodologies.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

Prior experience (1 -2 years) in software testing.

Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking tools.

Solid knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA processes.

Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
