Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Description:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive automated tests for our React, Typescript, Postgresql, Express, and Node.js applications using Playwright.

• Write Test Hooks using API calls and understand how automation tests will seed/pre-seed data.

• Use and maintain tools like Test Rail, Confluence, Jira, Github, Github Actions, CI/CD knowledge is useful.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Have a strong understanding of Git and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automation testing.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript.

• Experience with automation testing tools like Playwright.

• Strong knowledge of Test Hooks (beforeAll/AfterAll/beforeEach/afterEach).

• Experience with regression/sanity testing.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with NodeJS and DOM.
