Quality And Compliance Manager

 

Description:

PG ENTERPRISE (PVT) LTD is hiring a Quality and Compliance Manager for its newly established PRIME SALT Division. The selected candidate will oversee quality assurance and compliance for raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG), ensuring they meet regulatory standards and internal specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:

  • Oversee quality control systems for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections throughout the salt production process.
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and specifications.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory standards (food safety, environmental, industry-specific).
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance measures.
  • Develop corrective action plans for non-compliance issues.

Lab & Testing Management:

  • Supervise laboratory testing of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure testing follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accuracy and traceability.
  • Analyze test results and recommend improvements.

Process Improvement:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance quality control processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for better quality and operational efficiency.

Training & Development:

  • Train staff on quality standards, compliance regulations, and lab practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality and compliance across the organization.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain records of quality control, testing, and compliance activities.
  • Prepare compliance reports for audits and regulatory bodies.

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality management, compliance, and lab operations, preferably in salt production or a related field.
  • Familiarity with salt production processes and food safety standards.
  • Experience with ISO, HACCP, and other quality certifications.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in quality management is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Expertise in laboratory procedures, testing techniques, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions about quality improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and food industry compliance frameworks.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) or other relevant certifications.
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification.
