Description:
As the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager at well-known transport company. you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the QA processes within our logistics operations. You will lead the development and implementation of quality standards and practices, ensuring that all logistics services meet the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Strategy: Develop and implement quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures across all logistics operations.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the logistics process and implement solutions to improve accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
- Audits and Inspections: Oversee regular audits of logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery to ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Training: Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on quality standards and procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a QA role within logistics or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of logistics processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
