Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchase cum Rider professional to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement activities as well as field visits to local markets to source and verify products and services for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Purchasing:
- Identify and source required products and supplies from local markets and vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Negotiate competitive prices and terms with vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain updated records of suppliers.
- Field Operations (Rider Duties):
- Actively visit surrounding markets such as Shah Alam, Garhi Shahu, Beedan Road, Mall Road, Brendth Road, and other areas to gather market intelligence and verify product quality.
- Deliver documents, products, and purchase orders to vendors as required.
- Ensure timely and efficient transport of goods while adhering to safety and company guidelines.
- Administrative & Reporting Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and expenditures.
- Provide regular reports on market trends, vendor performance, and procurement metrics.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and supply chain management.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing and field operations as a rider or similar role.
- Prior experience in working with local markets in Lahore is essential.
- Market Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of Lahore's local markets including Shah Alam, Garhi Shahu, Beedan Road, Mall Road, Brendth Road, and surrounding areas.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driving license and excellent driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic procurement software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
