Purchase Executive

Description:

Mughal Steel is looking for a Purchase Executive to manage and optimize procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in local market purchasing and procurement processes, particularly in the following categories:

✔ Electrical Components
✔ Mechanical Parts
✔ Rubber Parts
✔ General Items
✔ Security & Safety Items (Uniform & Accessories)

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Oversee procurement operations ensuring cost-effective purchasing
🔹 Source and negotiate with vendors for quality products at competitive prices
🔹 Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage vendor contracts
🔹 Ensure timely availability of required materials for uninterrupted operations
🔹 Manage ERP-based procurement processes (preferably Microsoft D365)
🔹 Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
🔹 Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations

Qualifications & Requirements:

✅ Education: Graduation (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
✅ Experience: 5-7 years in procurement within Lahore’s local market
✅ Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365)
✅ Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement and local supplier dynamics
✅ Analytical Abilities: Ability to evaluate costs, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance
