Public Health Professional

Contech International, founded in 2001, is a group partnered with governments, donors, development partners, UN agencies, private sector and civil society to implement innovative concepts to improve healthcare. Our fundamental aim is to build resilient health systems and ensure equitable health services for different population groups and communities.

We are looking for Public Health Professionals for our Lahore office. S/he will offer expert advice and technical assistance to ensure effective implementation of assigned project activity. S/he will timely submit the desired deliverables and report to the Project Manager. Other key responsibilities include:

¤ Collaborate with project team to develop comprehensive implementation strategies of planned activities

¤ Prepare and share implementation methodology of assigned activity and present in joint review for approval

¤ Prepare and share activity implementation plan showing task completion milestones and submission of deliverables

¤ Collaborate with respective stakeholders for collecting information, scheduling events/ meetings, etc., keeping project team in loop

¤ Facilitate in improving availability of integrated, equitable, quality health services in targeted area(s)

¤ Prepare and develop concepts, policy briefs and implementation strategies for assigned project(s)

¤ Prepare required materials and organize planned events, conduct necessary presentations, write down event’s report and objectives achieved

¤ Prepare and share event/ field visit reports, meeting minutes, etc.

¤ Support in conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals

¤ Prepare and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks of the assigned activity to assess the progress and impact. And, to collect and analyze data on performance to identify gaps, and opportunities for improvement

¤ Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity progress and assignment completion report

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in public health (MPH)/MBBS/social sciences or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health and research
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks
• Experience in project development, implementation, and evaluation
• Appropriate communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to deliver training and capacity-building initiatives
• Knowledge in project Monitoring and Evaluation
• Willingness to travel in the field as per requirements
• High command of computer, working skills in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet
• Ability to work and establish good relationships with co-workers, and project team
