Project Manager

Description:

We seek an experienced IT Project Manager based in Pakistan to manage hardware projects, including server installations, cabling jobs, and network deployments. This remote, work-from-home role requires alignment with Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours. The ideal candidate will plan, execute, and finalize projects on strict timelines and budgets, coordinate resources, and work with team members and contractors. The IT Project Manager will also define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budgets, and timelines.

- Team Coordination: Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, ensuring accountability and quality in all deliverables.

- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project expectations clearly and promptly to team members and stakeholders, maintaining consistent updates.

- Risk Management: Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and devise contingency plans.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting quality standards.

- Documentation: Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Qualifications:

- Education: Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT project management, focusing on hardware projects such as server installations, cabling, and network deployments.

- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, server technologies, and deployment processes.

- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; ability to manage cross-functional teams remotely; strong problem-solving abilities.

- Language Requirement: Fluency in English is a must, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate clear presentation skills for client interactions and be adept at creating detailed project documentation for internal and client-facing use. - Other Requirements: Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup to ensure smooth communication and project management.
