Project Manager

Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled IT Team Lead and Project Manager to oversee our technical projects and establish our IT team. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will ensure that our IT projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards while leading and mentoring the IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership:

- Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.

- Contribute to technical tasks and decisions.

- Ensure the team's adherence to technical quality standards and best practices.

- Project Management:

- Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure projects align with business objectives.

- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.

- Team Management:

- Foster a collaborative team environment.

- Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members.

- Conduct performance reviews and encourage professional development.

- Communication:

- Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders.

- Regularly report on project status to upper management and stakeholders.

- Resolve conflicts and handle any issues that arise within the team or in project execution.

Technical Experience Required:

• Front-End Development: React.js
• Back-End Development: Python, Django
• Database: AWS RDS with PostgreSQL
• Management Tools: Airtable, Slack, etc

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in IT project management and team leadership.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
