Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately BOQs/Quantity Takeoffs for a diverse range of projects, including both residential and commercial, across various CSI divisions. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our projects are completed within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quantity Takeoff: Develop comprehensive takeoffs for all CSI divisions.
- Analysis: Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and identify potential cost impacts.
- Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and documentation to support decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, cost factors, and best practices to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or related industry, with a strong understanding of all CSI divisions.
- Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data.
- Software: Proficiency in estimation software's like Planswift, Bluebeam etc.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
