Description:
This role manages financial operations, including inventory tracking, cost control, and strategic planning. It involves preparing reports, analyzing finances, and ensuring goals are met. The role also oversees tax compliance, accounts payable, and offers strategies to boost profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with inventory teams to track stock levels, manage inventory costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of profitability, cash flow, and cost management to guide strategic decisions.
- Handle all tax planning and compliance, including GST/VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors while optimizing cash management.
- Advise on cost control measures and financial strategies to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with management to guide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
Key Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.
- The CA candidate must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho) and ERP systems.
