Production Manager

Description:

A leading steel chain manufacturing company, specializing in the production of chains for cement, sugar, paper, chemicals, and fertilizers both locally and internationally, is seeking an experienced Production Manager. The ideal candidate must have at least 12 years of experience in production management within the steel chains manufacturing industry and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

The role requires overseeing daily production operations, ensuring international quality standards, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and optimizing production processes. The candidate must be highly proficient in SolidWorks, 2D, and 3D AutoCAD software to support production planning and design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations for steel chains used in heavy industries.
• Ensure adherence to international quality standards and production schedules.
• Implement and manage lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of Production Engineers, Workshop Staff, and Subcontractors.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize production processes.
• Monitor raw material availability and prepare timely procurement requests.
• Reduce rework costs by improving manufacturing processes and methods.
• Work efficiently as per company workload and requirements.
• Conduct daily meetings with Production Engineers and Subcontractors to ensure smooth and timely production.
• Provide daily updates to top management regarding production progress and any constraints.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in production management, preferably in steel chain manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production planning and quality control.
• Excellent project management abilities.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, 2D, and 3D AutoCAD software.
