Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee our Production, Quality Control (QC), and Research & Development (R&D) departments. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, maintain product quality standards, and lead the development of new products to keep us at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with production targets.
- Optimize production processes to improve output, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of raw materials.
- Implement and maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the production area.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards across all production stages.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Identify and resolve any quality issues and ensure corrective measures are taken.
- Keep up with regulatory compliance, including food safety standards such as ISO, HACCP, and other certifications.
- Research & Development (R&D):
- Lead new product development initiatives, focusing on innovation and market trends.
- Develop and test new formulations for spices, seasonings, and other food products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align product development with consumer needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to inform product strategy.
- Manage and mentor the production, QC, and R&D teams.
- Set performance goals and provide training to enhance team skills and productivity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the teams.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production, quality control, and R&D in the food industry.
- Proven experience in managing teams and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, HACCP, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
