Procurement Officer

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented female Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including creating quotations, handling invoices, and communicating with vendors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

• Create accurate and competitive quotations for procurement needs.

• Handle and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers.

• Communicate with vendors to negotiate terms, manage relationships, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.

• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends in the industry.

• Continuously improve procurement processes and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related role.

• Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze and evaluate supplier proposals and contracts.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
