Procurement Manager

Description:

Novatech Engineering Enterprises is looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations and supply chain strategies in the industrial and government sectors. The candidate will be responsible for procurement processes, tender management, and supplier optimization for key sectors, including Oil & Gas, Power, and Defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement and supply chain processes for Oil & Gas, Power, Cement, and Fertilizer sectors.
• Manage tenders, including e-tendering, under PPRA regulations and execute competitive bids for government and defense contracts.
• Develop, negotiate, and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Oversee vendor management, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations (custom clearance, freight forwarding, etc.).
• Manage contracts, procurement orders, and reverse auctions while mitigating risks.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and manage multiple projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfil procurement needs and achieve operational excellence.
• Apply experience with ERP systems for efficient procurement and vendor management.
• Lead the procurement of highly technical materials for Oil & Gas, Power, and Cement plants.
• Ensure safe operations with zero lost-time incidents.

Requirements:

5-6+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement management within relevant sectors.

Strong understanding of PPRA tender processes and compliance regulations for government contracts.

Knowledge of material sourcing for Oil & Gas, Cement, and Power sectors.

Hands-on experience in warehousing, inventory management, freight forwarding, and transportation.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ESPO) and Microsoft Office.
