Description:
As the Procurement Manager at Sufi City, you will play a pivotal role in managing our procurement activities, ensuring efficient sourcing of materials and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, negotiating deals, and managing relationships with vendors. Your expertise will contribute to delivering projects on time, within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives and support project requirements.
- Identify reliable vendors and suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish agreements to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Forecast market trends, analyze supply chain risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of specifications and expectations.
- Analyze costs, evaluate supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and delivery schedules to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions and mitigate compliance risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a renowned housing society or construction company.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
