Description:
As a Pre-Sales Engineer at Softech, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs. This role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and provide ongoing technical support. You will work with products from leading brands such as SolarWinds, Barracuda, Netwrix, Sophos, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, Fortinet, and Kaspersky. Your efforts will directly contribute to driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and strengthening relationships with partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Proposal:
- Collaborate with sales teams to design, configure, and propose network and security solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Conduct technical assessments to evaluate and understand client environments, technical specifications, and business needs.
- Create technical proposals, ensuring all client requirements are met effectively.
- Technical Presentations and Demos:
- Lead product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical presentations to prospective customers, showcasing the value of proposed solutions.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, emphasizing solution benefits.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of solutions for clients, ensuring that all implementations align with technical specifications and business objectives.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance post-deployment, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on best practices and emerging industry trends.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams, partners, and clients on product functionalities, features, and updates.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments, updates, and features from all supported brands and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical support role, preferably working with security and network solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with products from SolarWinds, Barracuda, Netwrix, Splunk, Sophos, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, Fortinet, and Kaspersky is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients.
