We are seeking a skilled POS Implementation Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves coordinating and assisting in the full spectrum of activities related to the implementation of new point-of-sale (POS) software and hardware for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a project management maestro, adept at setting clear implementation schedules, ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place, and overseeing the seamless integration of POS systems. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist in the programming, staging/testing, shipping, and installation of new POS systems.
- Set clear and achievable implementation schedules.
- Ensure the availability of proper networking and power for POS installations.
- Line up integrated software solutions and collect deliverables for both integrated software and primary POS programming.
- Maintain regular and clear communication with clients throughout the implementation process.
- Schedule merchant consults for software placement with POS experts.
- Collaborate with Underwriting for the collection of necessary documents.
- Follow up with clients for initial purchase authorization and ensure a smooth transition.
- Coordinate training for clients and their staff on the new POS system to ensure competent usage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in POS system implementation or a related field.
- Understanding of networking, hardware setup, and software integration.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with small business owners and understanding their specific needs is highly desirable.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic business environment.
