Draft high quality policy and academic content (research, reports, proposals);
Manage research sources, citations and referencing systems;
Copyedit content to ensure it is of high-quality;
Conduct in-depth academic research on various topics, encompassing STEM, Humanities and Social Sciences;
Support other departments with their report writing and research needs;
Work closely with other departments to produce business proposals and presentations.
Qualifications
Educated to Postgraduate level.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar report-writing role or in policy or academia (Research avenue preferred).
Strong research, writing, editing and verbal communication skills with a strict attention to detail are essential.
A keen interest and knowledge of current affairs, global news, politics and policy issues is essential.
Interest in issues pertaining to the Global South (climate change, human rights, faith-based issues, refugee crises etc.) and how it relates to the Global North is preferred.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A flexible and adaptable personal style capable of rearranging priorities swiftly.
Demonstrable passion for media, communications, and culture are a plus.
