Tanveer Salt Traders®️, a leading supplier and exporter of Himalayan Pink Rock Salt, is looking for a Plant Operator to join our team in Muridke, Punjab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of the plant to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of the plant.
- Ensure plant efficiency, reliability, and safety through regular monitoring and improvements.
- Design, install, modify, and maintain plant systems, processes, and equipment.
- Conduct research, testing, and analysis to enhance plant performance.
- Review operational plans to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment to ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise forklift operations and plant machinery.
- Implement quality assurance procedures and ensure equipment maintenance.
- Conceptualize and implement plant improvement projects for better productivity.
- Identify performance issues and contribute to resolving operational challenges.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure adherence to environmental rules.
Qualifications:
- Experience in plant operations and machine operation.
- Strong skills in quality control and equipment maintenance.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing procedures.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Engineering degree, diploma, or relevant qualification is preferred.
