Description:
We are looking for a Planning Engineer with over 5 years of experience in project planning and execution, particularly within the MEP field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of project plans, schedules, and progress to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation, task dependencies, and critical path analysis.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and performance against the established schedules and milestones.
- Identify potential delays or issues and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates to project stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct project planning meetings and workshops to align all team members and stakeholders on project timelines and deliverables.
- Utilize project management software and tools to manage project schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all project management standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of necessary materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within construction projects.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
