Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy and numbers? Do you have experience in payroll administration and a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations? If so, we're looking for you to join our team as a Payroll Officer!
Responsibilities:
. Process payroll transactions accurately and on time.
. Maintain and update employee records related to payroll and benefits.
. Calculate and process tax deductions, overtime, and other adjustments.
. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
. Respond to employee inquiries related to their payroll and benefits.
. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
. Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and other relevant regulations.
. Assist in audits related to payroll and benefits.
. Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
Qualification:
. Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience).
. Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role.
. Knowledge of payroll systems and software.
. Understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
. Certification in payroll administration is a plus.
