Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including compute, storage, network, and database services.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage security policies and procedures to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
• Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies for OCI environments.
• Automate routine tasks using OCI automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for OCI-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of OCI environments, configurations, and procedures.
• Work closely with other IT teams, including network, security, and application development, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
• Manage and perform upgrades and patching of OCI components to maintain currency and security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Shell).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., VCN, VPN, Load Balancer).
• Familiarity with database administration (Oracle Database preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
