Description:
The Manager Operations will play a pivotal role in achieving business goals and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities include:
- Sales Budget Management: Develop and manage annual sales budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals through region-wise and product-wise distribution.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans to the CEO, segmented by product, customer, and region, focusing on new and high-gross-profit products.
- Policy and Pricing Updates: Conduct policy feasibility assessments, propose new policies, and update existing ones based on market trends and competitive analysis.
- Calendar Management: Maintain a policy calendar for the CEO, providing timely notifications and conducting weekly pricing reviews.
- Financial Monitoring: Regularly review sales, collections, and credit reports, and present detailed profit and loss (P&L) analysis. Continuously monitor and manage Net Profit (NP) and Gross Profit (GP) to ensure financial sustainability.
- Budget Oversight: Oversee and control monthly budgeted expenses, implementing cost control measures for annual expenses.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise and control budgets in collaboration with HODs, customers, and sales teams to enhance cost control while maintaining partnerships for cost optimization.
- Market Analysis: Gather data and prepare market price comparisons, considering competitors' strategies for pricing and promotions.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, preferably in the chemical or related industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to review sales performance and provide actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and the ability to travel frequently.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and time management.
