Description:
We are looking for a skilled Odoo Developer to design, develop, and customize Odoo ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Odoo modules, programming skills, and experience in implementing scalable ERP functionalities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Odoo solutions for clients across various industries.
- Customize and configure Odoo modules, including but not limited to CRM, Sales, Inventory Management, Purchase, and Finance.
- Analyze and implement ERP functionalities in Odoo to streamline business operations.
- Develop scalable, testable, and maintainable code in Odoo using Python and related technologies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing implementations, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Test new features or modifications to existing Odoo modules to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing project timelines and resources effectively.
- Install, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP server and database systems.
- Optimize database performance and server configurations to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for tasks and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project managers, to gather and understand client requirements.
- Maintain project codebases using version control tools.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 4–6 years of experience in software development, with a substantial focus on Odoo development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, SQL and Odoo’s core framework, showcasing advanced technical skills in designing and developing robust Odoo solutions.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and advanced proficiency in Git version control.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, Unix/Linux platforms, and version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of API integration and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Familiarity with Odoo website modules and e-commerce integration (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
