Description:
Better Life Services is seeking Full Time dedicated and compassionate Male and Female nursing staff/caregiver aya/ personal attendant to provide high-quality home care services to elderly people and bed ridden patients. Our goal is to significantly improve the quality of life for our patients by offering personalized and professional care in the comfort of their own homes. The role involves providing daily care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with personal hygiene, administering medication, facilitating social activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for beneficiaries while ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to bed-ridden patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, wound care, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, ensuring patients’ comfort and hygiene.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, adjusting care as needed based on the patient's condition.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and treatments to ensure proper understanding and adherence.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting changes in health status and communicating effectively with doctors, healthcare providers, and family members.
- Monitor and assess patient’s physical and emotional needs, providing compassionate care and emotional support.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, nursing, or related field
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care
- Knowledge of medical procedures and medication administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Certification or diploma in Nursing or Caregiving is a plus
- Fluency in local languages for effective communication
- Physical stamina to perform job-related tasks such as lifting, repositioning, and providing care to bed-ridden patients.
